Help to identify some random rubber bits with my new frame

    Hi I bought a new genesis zero disc frame a while back. I’m just about to put it together and I found these rubber things I can’t figure out what they would be for.

    Thank you so much everyone, no wonder i didnt recognise it. I’ve always stuck with old skool cables for shifting as I commute and my components get wrecked over the winter.

    Here’s a picture showing how they fit around the battery (not sure what that metal clip is for – I don’t have one of them). The ridges on the outside of the holders allow the battery to friction fit into the bottom of the seatpost.
