I went the same route as Gkam - 8 guys I think will do well, and one with a cool name! Was always going with 2 OPQ guys - they know how to ride here.
Cancellara
Chavanel
Terpstra
Stannard
Kristoff
Turgot
Boom
Phinney
Bob Jungels! (Won the U23 race last year and is in great form - probably doing nothing but at least if he finishes he could get 5 for being Cancellara's teammate...)
Jungels in the early break
The full list:
Evaldas Siskevicius (Sojasun), Guillaume Boivin (Cannondale), Bjorn Thurau (Europcar), Bob Jungels (RadioShack Leopard), Frederik Veuchelen (Vacansoleil), Gatis Smukulis (Katusha) Gert Steegmans (Omega Pharma QuickStep), Jacob Rathe (Garmin-Sharp), Jens Debuschere (Lotto), Michael Morkov (Saxo Bank), Eloy Teruel (Movistar), Clement Kortesky (Bretagne Seche) and Benjamin Lemontagner (Bretagne Seche).
Once again Alan Tullett and I have differences for our teams in our Forum's Scorum's podium battle.
Cancellara-same
Boom-same
Turgot-same
Flecha-same
Degenkolb-AT has Paolini
Chavanel-AT has Roelandts
Stannard-AT has Offredo
Hushovd-AT has Phinney
Langeveld-AT has Ladagnous
We'll probably both get destoyed by Wig_Billy who'll have something mad like a 1-2-3 of Thomas,Kristoff,Terpstra!!!
Well, I'll give my team now. Will probably only watch a bit live, probably on Tesco wireless as there's one near the ground where my daughter's playing in a semi and I can't miss that! Have to watch it on highlights.
So
Ladagnous
Phinney
Roelands
Cancellara
Turgot
Offredo
Flecha
Paolini
Boom
Amazing how many good riders you can get in a team! Almost too easy really! Not sure about Flecha, could have gone Terpstra, who I think will do better than Chavanal. Cancellara by no means a cert. if his falls are real. We could have a surprise winner! Without Sagan there are so many points to play with. Spoilt for choice really!
Looks good on paper but we'll see tomorrow. I'll watch as much of the early stages as I can!
I had 8 transfers left for this. Only used 5. I just hope I haven't made some major mistake somewhere.
I have no clue what's being said about it or anything that's happened this week. So I have made some changes. The only guy I have NO clue about is Sinkeldam, I just liked the name
Edvald Boasson Hagen
Fabian Cancellara
Taylor Phinney
Heinrich Haussler
Sylvain Chavanel
Alexander Kristoff
Yoann Offredo
Ramon Sinkeldam
Jimmy Engoulvent
Thanks
Short answer 10:20 (CET) virtual start, 10:30 (CET) real start.
