A colleague at work has an AliExpress special - a chinese android sports-watch with GPS and heart rate which allegedly came with a free premium Strava subscription*, and automatically uploads via your paired android phone. Its closer to the fitbit in price than the £22 activity trackers though.
* Just looked at his activity feed, he's not got the premium logo so either the free premium period was short or non-existent, and incidentally his last activity (a "run")** indicates the device is a Huami Amazfit Pace
** The "run" was flagged - except for a detour to outside Old Trafford, and a meandering squiggle inside the Lowry shopping centre it does seem to have a very close match to the route (and pace) of the Metrolink trams!
