Good quality mid-range cycle wear?

Hi everyone!

I am relatively new to the game and have been experimenting with various different clothing brands with mixed success. I'm a bit OCD so I prefer to stick to one brand and match stuff up. Any recommendations for a middle of the road brand that's good quality? I've had success with the upper end of Endura, but for the most part it seems like quite a budget brand (I could well be wrong - correct me if so).

Generally I prefer to spend a bit more on good quality kit, not being one of the 'buy cheap buy twice' brigade, but equally I am faintly horrified by the prices of Rapha and the like!

Any and all suggestions welcome!

Cheers

Whats your budget? i.e. what are you willing to pay for a pair of cycling shorts?

Two brands I'm happy to push are Chapeau and Primal... both are pushing out quality products at reasonable (if not exactly budget) price points.

To be honest, I don't really know. I've got some Endura tights which are OK - think they were about £50 odd. Most decent thing I own is Endura FS260 Jetstream III jersey which is brilliant - paid about £65 for that.

This is largely the problem - because I don't know what brands are associated with quality I don't really know what's a low/mid/high price to pay for anything!

And another word Decathlon I use their kit as I am a fat git and need 3xl but (IMO) the quality for the price is good and you can get it to match just not fashionable. But as you may have guessed I don't do fashion
