Castelli Velocissimo Team jersey (should go well with my Pocket Liner Jacket and Surpasso leggings)
Pipe Clamp for my camera
661 Rage Knee Pads
G Form Knee Pads
And some massive smiles from the riding done over Christmas.
First post here, Santa bought an Endura Stealth II jacket (for my commute) and Cavendish at Speed book, oh and a Knog 'milkmam' lock.
100th le tour de france book

DHB Windslam long sleeve jersey. Very nice, worn today for a 26 mile ride with one of my long sleeve XTM merino base layers, of which i got 2. £25 each in TK Maxx.
2 x DHB long sleeve base layers
Wiggle mountain mayhem jersey (thats going back)
Garmin Edge 200, that got used today too.
Very pleased I must say
Cycling Anthology vols 2 & 3, as requested.
Mrs E decided to add Sean Kelly's autobiog to her basket while on the Prendas website, despite not knowing who he was, so I have that to look forward to as well.
And today my sister's presents arrived via shuttling parents - a Castelli Risvolto winter cap (road.cc review here). Exactly what I needed for my cold ears! Unless she hacked my ebay account and saw my wish list I've no idea how she could have got it so right.

Some nice stuff there
I forgot to add that I also had a sportful hot pack gilet and I used it today and must say what a fantastic bit of kit, the wife got me the lumi one which doesn't look half bad to be fair. But the great thing is it packs down to the size of a large kiwi fruit weighs nothing but seems really robust, and does the job it's designed to do exceedingly well.. Highly recommended.
My partner and I asked for money, and received, for Christmas and birthdays (which are next month) we're off to the Specialized Concept Store at Fort Dunlop tomorrow to spend it. Me on probably a Secteur and the misses will probably get a Dolce
I got some Spesh 74 shoes and a bar fly 2 Garmin mount. Just need to work out what I'm going to spend the cash I got on now. Choices choices!!
Castelli Diluvio gloves - very nice and a wad of money to treat myself to a new jacket - going for the Castelli Gabba LS.
After dropping near constant hints about bad weather and not being able to get out the dear lady wife finally went to Hargroves and came out with a Tacx Booster trainer which I am very pleased with. Not happy about me using it her new kitchen though! Also got the Pain and The Glory as well and some new Sportful kit in the Halfords sale.
eTrex 30 and "The Pain and the Glory"
Its all good!
Muddy Fox/Sports Direct orange commuting jacket. Same as last year... grumble grumble. Skint from buying presents for other people, so no going mad in the sales for me. Will have to bake some cake for the New Year's Day ride, and cycle somewhere nice. That'll do me.
I played Santa for my bike, gave it a nice shower and a bath for its back brake calipers. New tape on all the old scars. New seat bracket and finally some shiny new Continental GP4000s boots.
I did the same; gave it a good clean (including the jockey wheels, they were minging), a new saddle, cables, coloured cable covers and bar tape. She'll be very pretty for the new season when I'm done.
Carradice Nelson Longflap and a couple of TdF dvds from the late 80's to remind me that I am definitely much older and slower than in those (my) wannabe racer days.
At the very least they serve to justify the audaxers beard that now adorns this ageing mush.
£100 which is burning a hole in my pocket. Will top it up to result in one of:
Spesh body geometry shoes- to supplement existing pair
Rapha Cross jersey
A soft shell jacket, but haven't seen a really nice one for this kind of cash
Or even a winter frame, but the head tube on the Ribble seems stupidly short
I'm not normally allowed cycling stuff for birthday or Christmas as there is a steady stream of kit coming in to my wardrobe year round but after finding a hole in my DeFeet merino socks the mother-in-law treated me to some of Vulpine's long merino socks - so soft and warm, looking forward to getting out in them again tomorrow in the sub-zero temperatures
All of the above....nice
A cateye volt 300 for my commuting. Used for proper for the first time tonight & the pulse flash is really good, it'll be interesting tomorrow morning on my quiet bit to see if its any cop to see by as well.
Snap, albeit haven't used mine yet, need to dig out my old USB charger from the back of the cupboard to charge it first.
Also got a pair of Sealskinz gloves.
A beanie with the biggest pompom ever seen in captivity.
Even if drivers don't see me, they'll see the pompom.
Specialized toupe saddle in 130mm width for my training bike, no more sore arse on that now
Specialised roubaix bar tape to spruce things up for the new year
Wide flat pedals for my commuting bike
Full length mudguards for the commuting bike
K-Edge chain catcher for the road bike, just incase
It pays to provide a comprehensive list with links
My wife bought me a cracking "Life Cycle" tee from Not On The High Street and and a Specialized under saddle bag but it was massive and I already have a proper one so that went back.
TBF she's crap and buying me anything so usually gets me nothing!
My constant hints and ostentatious visits to the Prendas website worked as my great wife got me a La Vie Claire LS jersey as well as a painting done by a local artist of Mark Cavendish in action. Also a few wee cycle themed bits and pieces including some carbolic soap that is supposedly for getting the grease off cyclists hands and has to be stored in a plastic bag due to smelling out the bathroom!
In fact she has been telling her friends at work that one of the benefits of being married to a cyclist is that Christmas and birthday gift buying is easy!
Rapha brevet jersey and it's absolutely outstanding.
