Exeter Racecourse, Kennford, Exeter, Devon, EX6 7XS
Epic Route: 90miles
Standard Route: 50miles
Short Route: 30miles
Be prepared for an eyeful of Devon’s most glorious countryside in the Dartmoor Demon. Straight from the off, you’ll be marvelling at the stunning Haldon Forest before heading down the River Teign. It won't be long before you see the last of civilisation for a few hours as the circle around and through Dartmoor National Park begins, which lead through quiet and sprawling lanes on undulating terrain.
As much as the moors are sparse, there’s enough to keep you interested as you tackle the short and punchy climbs throughout – not forgetting a few long ascents as well. Old brick bridges and deserted roads make up most of the scenery on the road as you pass through the National Park – before meeting and skirting around the ever-eerie and element-exposed HM Prison Dartmoor in Princetown.

I can watch the Tour de France live on France TV but I much prefer to switch to ITV. David Millar has an ability to describe the race tactics that...
Better tyres, but weirdly enough almost no snow on this mountain.
BMW, Audi, GTI etc. drivers are immune to sob stories about dead cyclists and children.
You need to take wind chill/effect into account... at TT's speeds pouring water is certainly highly effective!

Agree 100% regarding riding round that circuit at 5.30am. I don't own an £8000 bike, but even on one of my £1500 to £3500 bikes, I would now be...
