Headsets, there’s no such thing as a standard and there are scores of different types available. Which means finding the right headset for your bicycle frame can easily cause a headache.
FSA has come to the rescue with a new tool that should make it very easy to find the right one. It’s called easyHeadset and the Italian company says it developed it in response to the many questions it gets about which headset to fit a bike frame
The easyHeadset webpage simply presents a graphic of a headset with four variables that need data on your frame, namely the internal and external diameters of the upper and lower head tube. Punch in some numbers and the app will then display a suitable FSA headset to fit your frame. Easy.
– Everything you need to know about headsets
You might already know the important internal and external measurements of you head tube, many manufacturers supply that data for new frames. But if you don’t, FSA helpfully offers this video to help you measure the head tube yourselve.

what’d be even more sensible
what’d be even more sensible would be a database of headset for which bikes. You know, like halfords have for windscreen wiper blades, oil filters etc.
Which cack handed amateur
Which cack handed amateur made the “help” video on their website?! I dont think I’ve ever seen a more inept use of a vernier caliper!
