The Hoy range of Napier runner bikes for children has just expanded with the addition of three new colours to the range. It was originally available in just yellow. Now green, red and blue options have been added.
The new colours are said to have been inspired by the World Championship rainbow bands that Sir Chris Hoy won on 11 occasions across four disciplines (team sprint, 1km time trial, keirin and sprint).
The Napier also benefits from a few improvements to the design. The vertical rear dropouts are intended to make it easier to get the rear wheel in and out, and the new fork is a tip of the hat to the BMX bikes Sir Chris rode in his early racing days.
The low standover height and lightweight butted frame are designed to make this a bike that's easy to get on and control, while the saddle features a grip handle for parental assistance. You get proper ball bearings in the headset and hubs, and the complete bike weighs about 3.9kg.
Oh, nearly forgot the price! It's £110.
A new delivery of Hoy Napiers has just dropped at Evans Cycles. Christmas delivery options are available through all Evans Cycles stores, and online now, including delivered on Saturday 20 December.
