Rapha are releasing a new jersey and T-shirt to celebrate Chris Froome’s victory in the Tour de France. Rapha are, of course, clothing suppliers to Team Sky.

The T-shirt is slim-fitting and features a graphic bearing the names of the nine Team Sky riders who took part in the race. It’s cut long at the back in a cycle jersey style although it’s not made from a technical fabric – it’s 100% cotton.

There’s an inset band on the left sleeve, a printed black Rapha logo and a Sky Pro Cycling logo on the back of the neck. It’s priced at £35 and is available from today in the UK, early next week in the US.

The jersey features a yellow armband and back stripe and has the names of the nine Team Sky riders from the Tour printed on the rear right pocket. The body of the jersey is made from a breathable performance fabric, and the side panels are a more open mesh. Both fabrics are designed to wick moisture and have an anti-bacterial treatment.

The jersey, priced at £80, isn’t available until the end of August but you can hit the ‘inform me’ button on Rapha’s website and they’ll let you know when they have stock.

In other Tour de France news, there’s an interview with Team Sky’s Peter Kennaugh on the Rapha site at the moment where the Manx rider talks about riding his first Tour. Check it out here
