For 2024, Liv has updated the Devote gravel bike range spanning the Advanced Pro, Advanced and Devote series. The women-specific bike now boasts a redesigned geometry for enhanced performance, along with internal cable routing and frame storage.

Liv Devote 2024 – Updates to geometry
The most significant change in the new Devote range is the updated, more aggressive geometry. Liv has lengthened the top tube, shortened the head tube, increased the reach and reduced the stack, creating a more aggressive and gravel race-oriented bike.
While the size range remains consistent with four options: XS, S, M, and L, the revamped geometry means that the size XS bike is now closer to the outgoing Small Devote in terms of stack and reach.
For instance, the Small Devote now features a stack figure of 544mm and a reach of 384mm. The headtube angle is 71-degrees and the seat tube stands at 75-degrees. The Small bike has a wheelbase of 1,019mm – but this can be adjusted on the two top-tier models.
The Devote’s geometry figures can be fine-tuned slightly using the flip-chip dropout system introduced in the new Advanced Pro and Advanced models. The flip-chip system allows riders to adjust the geometry and rear-wheel tyre clearance by essentially flipping around the frame dropouts. The short position offers quicker handling and accommodates tyres up to 45mm, while the long position provides stability at speed and increased tyre clearance of up to 53mm.
The Devote Advanced Pro and Devote Advanced models continue to be made of Giant’s Advanced-grade composite. The Advanced Pro model also includes the Advanced SL-grade composite fork. All models in the Devote Range come equipped with Overdrive, Liv’s oversized fork steerer tube technology, which includes oversized stainless steel headset bearings and a tapered steerer tube for optimal steering stiffness and responsiveness.
Liv Devote 2024 – Updates to components
The 2024 Liv Devote continues to feature a largely in-house proprietary finishing kit which was revamped with the recently launched Liv Avail endurance road bike. The Devote now comes with the new Contact SLR XR D-Fuse handlebar on the Devote Advanced Pro and the Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar on the Devote Advanced and Devote series.
The D-Fuse components, including seatposts, are designed to absorb shocks and vibrations from various surfaces, promising a smoother and more efficient ride.
The Devote Advanced Pro and Devote Advanced models boast the new Contact AeroLight Stem, guiding cables from the handlebars below the stem and down through the frame for a more streamlined and aerodynamic cockpit setup that enhances overall performance.
The Contact SLR XR D-Fuse handlebar has a five-degree back sweep and flare drop for a “comfortable and ergonomic grip”. To personalise things further,, the D-Fuse SLR seatpost can be swapped out for a 30.9mm or 27.2mm round seatpost.
Following a trend that has been picking up among modern gravel bikes, the Devote Advanced and Devote Advanced Pro models also come with integrated down-tube storage. This is a compartment containing a water-resistant bag for essential items such as inner tubes, CO2 cartridges, tyre levers, snacks, or multi-tools. The compartment cover also doubles as a water bottle cage mount.
All models in the Devote Range feature are designed for flat-mount disc brakes and 12mm thru-axles. The frames also come with a mudguard, top tube, fork and third bottle cage mounts for added cargo capacity.

The Liv Devote 2024 range comes in three tiers: Devote Advanced Pro, Devote Advanced and Devote. They continue to be built around women-specific contact points and geometry.
