Sigma Rox 4.0

We’ve managed to wrangle one of Sigma’s new Rox 4.0 cycling computers. It comes with 30 different functions such as altitude profile, speed, distance and training time. Its 2.4″ display is customisable and it comes sorted with an integrated air pressure sensor that uses barometric readings to determine inclines and descents. You’ll even get smart notifications for phone calls and texts if you hook up your phone to it.

Knog PWR Rider Duo

Living perfectly up to its name, the Knog PWR Rider Duo is a duo of lights, at the front there’s a main 450 lumen beam paired with a 12 lumen rear. Remove that rear light and the leftover unit can be used as a power bank. It comes with multiple brightness settings along with a number of flash settings for use on the road if that’s your thing.
The front light shoots out an elliptical beam and can run for up to two hours and there are four LED indicators to tell you how much power you’ve got left. It also works with Knog’s ModeMaker app which lets you tailor the light’s power modes to your liking.

Privateer 161

We’ve got quite the biggie to round off this week’s 5 cool things. Our Ty is spending some time aboard the Privateer 161, a bike that’s designed especially for racing enduro under your own steam. It comes with a bunch of features in order to make life easy, like the three bearings found at the main pivot and a one piece rocker that keeps alignment high, both while increasing bearing life and adding stiffness.
At the front, the bike gets 170mm of travel and as its namesake suggests, there’s 161mm of squish at the rear. That’s both handled by RockShox suspension while SRAM supplies the shifting and stopping. Then, the bike rolls on HUNT’s Enduro Wide wheelset.
