A dashcam video from Russia shows the lucky escape of two cyclists when a lorry overtaking them overbalanced and collided with another truck, sending a cloud of debris across the road.
Incredibly, neither cyclist appeared to be hurt in the incident which according to the description of the video took place in the city of Kirov, which lies around 500 miles east of Moscow.
Last year, another cyclist in Russia had a very close escape when he was riding through a junction when a car and lorry collide, both vehicles somehow missing him.

Jeez, I hope that cyclist bought a lottery ticket on the way home, along with some new pants.
Amazing video of where ‘reading the road ahead’ goes drastically wrong.

YouTube is full of videos of Russian truck drivers making stupid mistakes, usually not involving cyclists. I’d hazard a guess that they work stupidly long hours due to crap pay, demands of schedules and very little enforcement of driving hours regs (whatever those might be in Russia). And, of course, vodka.
Crickey!
Crickey! :O
