Scoring an 8/10 in our review, the Giro Cielo Mips helmet is a good-looking helmet. Despite not sitting at the top of the range, it’s still reasonably light and features the integrated Mips brain protection system, designed to help reduce rotational forces in the event of an impact.

Scope has tailor-made these wheels for the rider who wants to upgrade the stock wheels on their mid-range carbon aero or endurance road bike; who wants to run 28 or 30mm tyres (the sweet spot for road tubeless); and who wants to save weight and go faster.

A couple of weeks ago, Le Col entered administration after months of financial uncertainty. However, the cycling clothing brand is currently running a summer sale with discounts of up to 60%, making it a good opportunity to pick up heavily discounted kit while stock lasts.
