Upgrade the UK distributors of Reynolds Wheels have made a little home-grown video promoting the product while having some fun in the process.
Titled 'Counter. Attack' the short film documents that all-too-familiar experience of being caught on the road and dropped by slicker, faster, more-pro riders that leave you gasping in their wake and muttering words to the effect of, "Curses, foiled again."
In the case of our hero he hits the bike shop – a nice shout-out for South Downs Bikes in Storrington – where a stealthy set of Reynolds 66 carbon wheels and some workouts on the rollers leads to a return match back out on the road. With the inevitable result that the hunters become the hunted. Victory!

It was in the sense that Lezyne along with Kenesis (maker of that nice black carbon bike in the workstand) are brands distributed by Upgrade that made the video.
We’re thinking that in rather the same way the ads on TV can provide top entertainment when they’re at their best, these ‘homegrown’ videos can help to sell cycling to a whole new market apart from the obvious objective of selling product. I’m sure I’ve been passed by that lot on the same road. I used drawing pins instead – a lot cheaper than the wheels and a lot less effort than the turbo.
