YT Industries had heard the calls for the brand’s popular full suspension trail and enduro bikes to be offered with the latest suspension and drivetrain tech from RockShox and SRAM. Introducing, the Blaze series, a very limited run of bikes that are promised to bring a high-end riding experience to riders from all riding backgrounds.

Three of YT’s existing bikes receive the Blaze treatment in the new range, the enduro focussed Capra 29, the trail orientated Jeffsy 29, and the recently released Izzo 29.
Starting off with the Capra Blaze 29. The original Capra is YT’s most popular bike which caters to enduro riders and those most at home at the bike park. The Blaze model of the Capra 29 gets a whole chunk of suspension adjustability thrown at it thanks to the RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork handling 170mm of travel and the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock at the rear.
It gets a pair of SRAM Code RSC stoppers to slow it down and there’s a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain which features that new 52T cog at the rear for even easier climbing.
The Capra Blaze 29 then gets a DT Swiss E 1900 Spline wheelset shot with a Maxxis Assegai at the front and a Minion DHR II at the rear. Then the bike is finished with YT’s own Postman dropper post, a Renthal Fatbar 35mm, and Sense Swayze grips.
Next up is the Jeffsy Blaze 29. It’s the brand’s trail offering which is designed to keep you hitting big enduro trails while being super happy to get you back to the top. The Blaze model gets a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate with a RockShox SuperDeluxe Ultimate shock at the back. Both of those have the 150mm of travel sorted at both ends.
Much like the Capra Blaze, the Jeffsy Blaze gets a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with that extra big 52t cog but this one gets SRAM G2 RSC brakes.
The similarities don’t end there, the Jeffsy Blaze also gets a DT Swiss wheelset but on this bike it comes in the form of the M 1900 Spline wheels. They’re wrapped with a Maxxis Minion DHF at the front and a DHR II at the rear.
Then this bike is finished with that same YT Postman dropper post, Renthal Fatbar 35mm but with Sensus Lite grips.
Finally there’s the IZZO Blaze which used anime as creative inspiration upon its release. Within nearly a year it’s already received high praise, making its mark as a trail bike thanks to its sorted climbing ability and capability when the trail points down.
The Blaze model gets a bump in travel up front to 140mm to help handle even rowdier trails and that’s provided by a RockShox Pike Ultimate. The 130mm of suspension at the rear is handled by a RockShox Deluxe Ultimate shock.
Just like the Jeffsy Blaze 29, the IZZO Blaze gets a SRAM Eagle GX drivetrain with the 52t cog and SRAM G2 RSC brakes. It also gets a DT Swiss M 1900 Spline wheelset with a Maxxis Minion DHF at the front, and a DHR II at the rear.
The finishing kit on this one comes from Race Face with the Turbine R 35 stem, Aeffect bar and then there’s YT’s Postman dropper post.
As for sizes, both the Jeffsy and IZZO Blaze come in S up to XXL while the Capra Blaze 29 comes in M to XXL.
If a bit of Blaze takes your fancy, one of these bikes will set you back £3,600 but be quick, there are only 250 IZZO Blazes and only 150 Jeffsy and Capra Blazes in the European market.
