Privateer has been making some big moves recently, including the sneaky reveal of its second-generation bike and signing plenty of athletes to its roster. Late last year, the brand announced the signing of four-cross National Champ Amelia Martin and now Christo Gallagher has joined the team.

To announce the Christo’s signing, Privateer has released a brand new video of the man himself getting to grips with his own Privateer Gen 2 prototype.

Christo Gallagher has been on the race scene for 16 years and his efforts haven’t gone unnoticed, having won the Scottish Enduro Series in 2019 and the British Enduro Series in 2021. On top of that, he holds two Tweedlove Triple Crown Series wins and he placed 14th at the World Enduro and Innerleithen in 2022.

For 2024, Christo will be riding Privateer’s recently revealed Gen 2 platform and he aims to race select rounds of the British Enduro series and the first British Enduro Championships in Ae forest.

As for the new Privateer Gen 2 bike, the brand says that production models (including orders) will be revealed in February.
