Pivot has brought a new model to its e-mountain bike lineup, the Shuttle SL/AM. Using Bosch’s SX motor and retaining the ever-so-controlled DW-Link rear suspension, this 160/150mm suspension e-MTB comes in around 18kg with 55Nm of torque, a 600W peak power motor, and a 400Wh battery. Featuring well sorted geometry and spec options featuring top-level kit, Pivot has its sights set on agility and power.

Pivot’s new Shuttle SL/AM is a lightweight e-MTB for all-mountain duties. Trail focused with 160mm fork and 150mm of rear travel through a DW Link configuration, which is claimed to be controlled on the descents and efficient under pedalling. Special attention to ride characteristics has resulted in custom-tuned carbon in each frame size to get the best ride for all riders.

Utilising Bosch’s Performance Line SX motor, 55Nm and 600W of peak power is on tap to get to the top of the trails. A 400Wh battery holds those electrons with the option for a 1.5kg range extender offering an extra 250Wh.

Geometry is right up to date with trail-friendly reach numbers of 420mm up to 496mm, and generous stack heights of 610mm up to 657mm, to give a strong riding position. 444mm chainstays are on the longer side for stability, whilst a 64.5 degree head angle (in the flip-chip’s high setting) will feel right at home on the high-speed trails. A flip-chip at the top of the seat-stay lowers the bottom bracket by 5mm and slackens the head angle by 0.5 degrees.

New for the Shuttle SL/AM is an XS size. It uses a mullet wheel set-up in order to cater to riders down to 4’11’’. S-XL sizes are sold in full 29er only however, the flip-chip can be used to run a mullet set-up if you wish.
