@mdavidford Oh you cynic! Didn't you see that they used CAPITAL LETTERS to really exaggerate their point. Thats how you know they are being totally honest and transparent.

I don't think the reprimand was excessive in this case, no matter how politely you point out their errors some people will justify to themselves that they did nothing wrong.

Surely the better question is "how can I improve my child's aero position?"

Presumably Mr Appleton will be taking out a civil case against Frewin and his insurers and possibly the owner of the shed?

Conker seat is 0.5mph slower at 12mph (whatever that means) than riding without your offspring. That's great, but surely the more relevant question for anyone concerned about its aero properties is not "how aero is it compared to leaving my child at home for the nursery run", but "how aero is it compared to other, non-enclosed child seats?"

I had to do a double take when reading CS600: I owned a Polar CS600 many moons away (and really liked it). How unlikely is it that a different manufacturer would reuse the name within the same product class?

What a truly terrible graph. It's almost as if it was intentionally designed to make it really hard to understand what it's showing. No indication of what periods the 'before' and 'after' are covering (have they been cherry-picked?; are they even the same length?; are they long enough to give meaningful numbers free of statistical noise?). That woeful 3D-ified scale that makes it impossible to read off what the actual values are (presumably the bars are set forward of the background scale, otherwise there would appear to have been a negative number of serious accidents before the cycleway, but by how much isn't clear). And then combine that with the description using percentages to give big scary numbers, instead of more easily interpretable multiples ('a little over twice as many'). D- See me!

Maybe add a photo of it fitted so you can see what the shoulder profile is like.

The rather small no entry sign is easily lost among the visual clutter of the somewhat similar (red circle with a paler horizontal strip) underground signs, which just increases the cognitive load involved in spotting everything you need to and deciphering the instructions.
