Several brands offer a custom paint service, like Trek and its ProjectOne and Canyon’s reasonably new MyCanyon system. However, in collaboration with Shimano, Orbea is offering one lucky winner to win their own custom-painted mountain bike through MyO.

In a celebration of creativity and “the art of personalisation”, Orbea has launched an exciting competition in which one budding designer can win their choice of mountain bike, with their hand-picked colourway.

Choose from the Oiz cross-country bike, Occam trail bike, or the very latest Rallon enduro bike. e-MTBers, fret not because you’re catered to as well as you can also design and potentially win a Rise or Wild e-MTB. Regardless of which bike you choose, it’ll receive a Shimano Deore XT Di2 or XTR Di2 electronic groupset.

With this competition, Orbea is cultivating a community with the hopes of making the whole process interactive. As such, Orbea’s design team will pick the 16 best designs, which will then be forwarded to knock-out rounds, with each design being voted on through Orbea MTB’s Instagram Stories.

The design with the most votes will be painted and built, and whoever created that design will win the bike!

The competition opens on October 22nd and will run up until November 12th. To enter, head over to the contest website (link below), choose and design your bike, save it, and you’re in. 

Finalists will be selected on November 14th, the Instagram knockout rounds will take place from November 17th to 21st, and the winner will be announced on the 21st.
