We’ve just had a load of new Continental tyres drop at the office, plus some Morvelo kit for the colder days and a multi sport watch from Sigma with which we are looking forward to testing the GPS function. There’s also some Cush Core for gravel wheels and tyres which we are going to hand over to our main gravel man, Dave plus a neat tool organiser from Lezyne… dig in.

Sigma iD.FREE multisport watch

This multisport watch records six different sports to include cycling, it piqued our interest due to the mapping in conjunction with Komoot, GPS capabilities and the incident alert feature. It’s also an activity tracker with the associated app which appears to be pretty popular lately.

Continental Terra gravel tyres

We told you all about Continental entering the gravel bike tyre market back in August this year, soon after we were sent tyres for test. We have the knobblier Terra Trail tyre in 650b x 40c and the faster rolling Terra Speed tyre in 700 x 40c size. We’ve got a pair of each and both look pretty similar in tread but look closer and you’ll see the larger knobs of the Terra Trail marking it out for muddier, rougher conditions.

Cushcore  Gravel.CX

We are fans of the Cush Core tyre inserts here at off-road.cc, having tested the ‘Pro’ model recently on 30mm wide mountain bike tyres. We’ve now got a set in designed specifically for gravel or cyclocross bikes with 700c wheels. The kit fits tyre widths from 33mm to 46mm with inner rim widths of 19mm to 26mm and weighs 110g per insert.
