The falcon cocks its head; it has sensed the prey.
Gee Atherton, one of the fastest downhill riders in the world has velcroed bait to his backpack and all bets are off. Will he manage to negotiate the twisting trail to the bottom before the bird can snatch its reward, or is this Perigrine simply too sharpwitted?
Shot in the unforgiving but beautiful Antur Stiniog in North Wales, if you're not moved by this display of prowess by both man and beast, you're tougher than us.

I rode there about 6 weeks ago in the freezing cold and wet, horizontal rain stinging the face. I rode the blue and the red, the blue was ok-ish with the red stunning. It was too windy to ride the blacks because as soon as you left the ground you'd be blown off course and you cannot ride those slowly.
I'm going back up in the Autumn though, I have unfinished [black run] business...
Would've been more interesting with something a bit more threatening. A Pterosaur, say.

Don't bother watching the second video, it really isn't the "Birdcam" it's just the first video with about 10 seconds of footage from the birds view.
Disappointing really.
To be fair it's so wobbly (no tripods on birds...) that you'd probably be sick if you saw much more of it.
