Pro Teams Training
Pro teams always seem to go training in Majorca and other pleasant sunny warm places with good roads, it struck me, as I rode around another tooth rattling Scottish route, that if they really want to feel the benefit of winter training, get up to Scotland in winter. Come the spring classic season they would positively revel and blow everyone away such would be the difference in climate and road surfaces. 2 months in the central highlands, steep hills and a liberal dose of Rule #5, podium places the rest of the year, job done.

SBS in Australia. They have the Tour, Vuelta, Giro, and a bunch of other races - all free and live. I think they do catch-up as well

On Saturday I faced a headwind on my out and on my return. I even changed direction to re route but sure enough, another headwind!
Yeah, but with such low body fat, their immune systems might not fair so well. A few illnesses or crashes on the ice could put paid to any fitness gained.
Then again, let's go with your plan and I'll take their place in Majorca...
Alternatively they could just follow me - I always manage to find a headwind!

My commute is Easterly in the morning and Westerly on the way home and I have a head wind both ways, is there someone who can explain this

I'm glad everyone is remembering the rules after my post the other day (you sounds like you knew them already on this thread though!)
Anyway, all my 'altitude' training gets done in Scotland
