Pain on the Plain circuit races and sportives
This Army backed event with proceeds going to SSAFA, has expanded into a full weekend of cycle sport. Starting with a Mountain bike enduro on restricted land testing the mountain bikers followed by closed roads circuit races in the afternoon and evening for all including G0-Ride races for the kids. Camping available Sunday has a 2 route sportive with use of army roads to add to the test. Paris Roubaix fans have gravel road sections as an OPTION only on the shorter route as these are tough. There is a family ride and Go-Ride on all day. All routes are fully arrowed, well stocked feeds, chip timing, Shimano Service and Wheel Test Fleet plus the famous "range stew" after the sportive.
