Renowned for budget gear, Wiggle's in-house apparel brand dhb have gone high-end with these road shoes that have a full carbon sole. Designed to be lightweight and stiff, we weighed ours at just over 300g for a size 45 and there are plenty of features to keep your foot vented and comfortable, including a breathable synthetic upper and perforated sections across the shoe. They're available in just black or white and have two Velcro straps and an ATOP dial combined for a precision fit. One of a whole host of lights that appeared in our annual beam test, this light packs 650 lumens which Kryptonite say is suitable for road or trails. It's got six modes, and on economy flash it will last up to 26 hours. It's USB rechargeable as standard, and assembles easy with a solid plastic mount. These funky-looking bib tights courtesy of Oxfordshire-based Shutt Velo Rapide are designed by pure cycling enthusiasts,so you can expect close attention to detail throughout their range. The tights are made with Vuelta Lycra, a modified version of the stretchy fabric with a water repellent treatment and an interlocking microfibre knit, with breathable insulation that's soft to the touch. This women's specific saddle from Fizik has a shorter length and a wider rear to better suit the female anatomy compared to a men's version. This is the first saddle from Fizik with a hole in the base to provide pressure relief, and to stiffen it up the rail system has been redesigned with a narrower meeting point between the two rails at the base. This alloy-railed version weighs 250g and is 270mm long, with a carbon-reinforced shell and central cut-out. Is it a perfect perch?
