Eurobike 2017: Stunning Italian road bikes

Eurobike is the perfect place for checking out bike porn and here are some of the best-looking Italian stars of the show.

Bianchi launched its Aria aero road bike just a few weeks ago and Eurobike was the first time that we got to see the even newer than new disc version.

The superlight Specialissima looks pretty neat dressed head to toe in celeste. 

This one is decked out in FSA’s new K-Force WE groupset.

This is the Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari road bike called the SF01.

The frame has a claimed weight of just 780g.

Like several bikes in the existing Bianchi line-up, it features Countervail technology that's designed to reduce vibration.

The Concept is Colnago’s still fairly new full-blooded aero race bike, and it looks like a force to be reckoned with.

Mind you, the older C60 still looks very cool, especially with a smattering of gold around the place. 

You probably haven’t seen too many Guerciotti bikes out and about in the UK, although the brand does provide bikes to the CCC-Sprandi-Polkowice Pro Continental team in this very orange finish. This is the Eclipse 64-14.

De Rosa makes a good fist of attempting to out-orange Guerciotti with this finish on the Protos…

…although Basso is a lot more restrained. This is the Astra, built up with a Campagnolo Super Record groupset.

This Basso Diamante SV has an unusual maap.cc finish...

...complete with small dots around the top tube/seat tube junction.

Wilier’s Cento10NDR endurance road bike features what’s called an ‘Actiflex’ system on the rear triangle with stays that flex, a pivot at the top of the seatstays and an elastomer shock damper, the idea being to add comfort over rough surfaces. 

This one is set up with disc brakes but the same frame and fork will also accommodate rim brakes.

The Ramato finish was a signature feature of Wilier bikes from the late 1940s right through to the 1980s, and here it is on a steel Jaroon gravel bike.

Wilier has given the same coloured finish to this Cento10Air.

The De Rosa SK Pininfarina was last year’s Eurobike show stopper and here it is in disc brake form.

This finish is called rosso vulcano – red volcano.
