Video: Things the pros do you probably shouldn't… Lawson Craddock catches sweet in mouth while riding no-handed

But how many attempts did it take?

Don’t try this at home. Or rather, do try this at home – don’t try it while cycling no-handed. Cannondale Pro Cycling’s Lawson Craddock lobs up a jelly bean/Werther’s Original/overpriced energy pellet and successfully catches it in his mouth without then breaking his collarbone.

Craddock – clearly proud of this monumental achievement – linked to the video from his Twitter account, saying: “I’ve been training hard.”

Craddock was noticeably untroubled by potholes or traffic during his fannying around. Even so, you wonder how many attempts it took.

Alex has written for more cricket publications than the rest of the road.cc team combined. Despite the apparent evidence of this picture, he doesn't especially like cake.

I last rode no handed sometime in the 1970's. I was going downhill on my first bike, a Raleigh Dido, when I thought I'd give it a go. I woke up on a neighbours floor having knocked myself out by colliding with a lamp post.  I won't be trying this.

Lawson is 90% jokes, 10% bike rider.

Anyone that has a ridden a bike intensely for a years can do this sort of thing. It's not a big deal. And it's fun.

I'd have trouble doing this in a chair though.

I'd be more concerned by the potential choking hazard than breaking a collar bone...
