If you didn't make it down to Hargroves Cycles in Totten this #mycyclingweekend for the Team road.cc ride-out, you missed out. The weather was beautiful, the riding was strong, and the conversation was stellar - it was the perfect opportunity to make friends and memories.
Don't fret too much if you did miss out though, there'll be plenty of other opportunities for you to make memories with us in the future. If you really don't want to miss out join Team road.cc now for the small price of £14.95.
Here are the bunch who rode out from Hargroves, a great time was had by all.
Away from the ride-out you lot spent your weekend reminiscing and making memories. And it was Twitter user Boardy whose family photo struck the right note for us.
Sure, it's great to summit those mountains, but cycling's part of our lives, and what better gift to give your children, eh?
So, Boardy, if you're reading this, congratulations - and check your Twitter direct messages to claim your B'Twin multitool.
Some of us here at road.cc did a bit of reminiscing too. Especially Oli, who dug out this fantastic photo of the time a bunch of us road.cc-ers did an all-night enduro. Oli's photography skills, which you can see all over the site, make the event look far more glamorous than it actually was though.
From the English countryside, down to South Africa, you guys were out making memories. Or saving memories, as was the case this #mycyclingweekend for Instagram user nigeypigey:
The rest of you were climbing mountains, riding through beautiful countryside, and showing off your shiny silver bikes. Here are the rest of our favorite photos of the week:
If you still want to get involved and share your favorite cycling memories, or your best bits from this #mycyclingweekend just post a photo to Instagram or Twitter and pop the #mycyclingweekend hashtag on the post. We'll get them loud and clear.
We're already looking forward to getting your photos in next weekend. But between now and then, put your feet up, yeah?
Beware though, the new Defy models are more aggressive than previously. Getting quite close to the TCR now....
I also agree. But where we've got the width of a village street between buildings e.g. on the main street which has now become a "busy main road",...
It probably is in this case! Looks like the police have done a good job when all but one of the cases described have been attacks on cyclists
That's very unfair. They have to launder their money somewhere…
> The men’s world champion using a mobile phone while cycling? How does anyone think he films his jaunty little clips for his socials?
There is literally nothing else which is more thought through...
A very good description of most cyclist's experiences I suspect. I can relate to the feeling on hearing a car approaching from behind. My own...
So they are very quick to remove potentially illegal caltrops (which is good), but try and tell them that some random Chinese factory is using...
I've not tried that one myself but have enjoyed others in that vein. Tart rhubarb in sweet buns - that is certainly a favourite, and on the more...
Just make that gate a modal filter (people can cycle through) and you're done....
