HERO RIDE 2014 - The Puffing Pedallers - Tedworth House to London
Become a Puffing Pedaller on our two-day relaxed pace Hero Ride towards London.
In keeping with the military tradition, the route will set off from the Help for Heroes run Recovery Centre at Tedworth House in Wiltshire, where wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women are helped with their recovery.
You will cover 100 miles over two days, riding through picturesque Wiltshire, Hampshire and Surrey - where we will take on the iconic Box Hill, retracing the tracks of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race heroes (albeit at a more gentle pace - stopping to admire the view is permitted - and encouraged!), before taking a turn into south London and dropping to Blackheath Common before the grand finale group ride into the city centre!

I'm doing it!!
I was originally signed up for the BBBR14, but didn't make my minimum target in time so switched rides
I was thinking of the Dawn Raid, same route but flat out through the night in one go
But as i've spent the last 6 weeks, in a back brace, on crutches & struggling to walk, i've not even been able to get my leg over a cross bar i'm now doing the Puffers.
I'll the slow whiney one at the back of the pack!
