Remember the feature length documentary Janapar we flagged up back in November that follows the story of how Tom Allen left home to ride around the world and returned three and a half years later not only with some unforgettable cycling memories but also a wife he had met and fallen in love with along the way?

Well, tomorrow evening there’s a chance to see the film in east London with a charity screening in aid of the National Pro Bono Centre, together with a question and answer session with Allen and the film’s producer, James Newton.

The film will be screened at the RichMix Cinema and Cultural Centre at the Shoreditch end of Bethnal Green Road (directions here), with admission costing £10 and doors opening at 6pm. If you can’t make it along, you can still buy a copy of the DVD and accompanying book through the Janapar website.

Thanks to Mark Ames of I Bike London for the heads-up.
