I did no transfers as it was
I did no transfers as it was just too uncertain this morning. Thought it would be a breakaway stage and picking the riders for that would be difficult. Through in a testing day and I just sat on my hands.
I do have Ulissi though, it was a punt for the breakaway Sunday and today.

He is. Got myself mixed up. Maybe not in GC contention, but he is still in the race.

Lost Yates and Thomas from my purist, although I have Ganna.
I had Ganna last night, dropped him for today, in my standard.
I picked Dennnis over Thomas on Stage 1. Inexplicably convinced myself that Sagan wouldn’t get up the short climb at the end of Stage 2. Dropped Visconti who I had for Stage 2 before Etna where he was second.
Every call I make now, seems a bad one.
Top 6 in the other race today. Most will have lots of those.

They might have fancied their
Sunweb might have fancied their chsnces dispatching Demare, but not Sagan. With Bling on the way out and pink so open, are they backing Kelderman more than Bora are backing Majka.

My four changes used were pretty much the same.
Two sprinters out for Kung and KA, two sprinters back in for the same riders.

I went Martin. Saw it as a gamble as his form / fitness has not been there.
Pretty cheap for a previous L-B-L winner mind.
Didn’t get 2nd though. Five of the top ten. Teuns was my letdown.

I was in the same place this morning that cancellations were coming, but didn’t have an opportunity to re-select. Some obvious names for the L-B-L not riding today.
With Amstel Gold decision, probably can go all out with transfers from here.

Made 6 for today, could have
Made 6 for today, could have / should have made 8.
If all the races happen 6 was probably the right strategy, if some don’t 8 would have been.
Amstel Gold the obvious issue now, though P-R has some doubt too.

I missed Van Poppel though.
