Sorry to hear this.
Sorry to hear this. Hopefully you are insured.
What region are you in by the way?
I wonder where all of these stolen bikes go, surely with the amount of high end bikes being nicked they can’t be resold in Britain? I get that they are ‘broken down and sold off in parts, but I rarely see ‘undesirables’ riding around on high end frames.. (you can easily tell, even if they are badly resprayed)… you’d imagine that every toe-rag would be riding a cervelo at the rate they get nicked.

I don’t think so, kickstarter
I don’t think so, kickstarter is the framework, you brought the actual item off Zwatt.
You shuold have some rights of not fit for purpose.. but try to threaten them with social media shaming or sumfink..

Just another thought… and I
Just another thought… and I might get poo poo’ed for it.. but a heavier and or more aero set of wheel rims/tyres is easier to ‘maintain speed’ than that with than a lighter or less aero rim/tyre combo.

Madcarew has more than nailed
Madcarew has more than nailed what I was going to say about vo2 max and interval training, so here’s another angle..
I ride with some fast lads, some are monsters on the flat some are monsters up hill, most things being even, any given day one of those fast lads can be dropped on a sunday bash. That sunday group is so well formed now that they play to each others strengths, so flat monster puts in a bigger turn on the flat, hill monster leads out up the hills and keeps the pace even over the top.
You’ve been riding three years, although that’s probably a lot of miles, it’s not a lot of time, I’d question whether that’s just with your two mates smashing your legs up, or are you regular rider in pacelines where the group is working for the group, as a group?
I’d refer to one of the points above and add in ‘old age and treachery will always beat youth and exuberance’.

I’d speak to Mr Mark (Reilly)
I’d speak to Mr Mark (Reilly) himself. He might have a few frames lying around which he can do a super deal on if you’re looking at buying one. He was very accomodating to me when I spoke to him a few months ago.

We use Velotec.ie – great
We use Velotec.ie – great guys, ex racers, easy to deal with and excellent value in comparison to others (for our requirements that is). I’ve looked about a number of times for other suppliers over the years and I’ve not found anyone who can match the price/quality of their ‘entry level’ jerseys at about £40 a pop.
There are literally a million suppliers out there and you also have the option to go to china with a design if cost is the main priority.

I’ve used and I know others
I’ve used and I know others who have used ‘Stuart Hall Cycling’ https://stuarthallcycling.co.uk/
Reccomended for taking the hassle out of any event and getting a club type feeling while you’re out there. Top team.

Equality in this world just winds me up. (warning rant ahead)
It’s all very good paying people the ‘same wage for the same job’ but this means that ‘everyone’s pay should go up right?’ take the BBC, should ‘all forgiegn correspondents get paid £250k when some are on £100k? The answer is no.
There’s NO discussion on the one bloke on £250k getting his pay cut (cause that’s illegal right).. but I’d be mightly pissed if they ‘all went up’ becuase of this.
It’s morally bankrupt that public money should fund everyone’s pay rises. What should ‘morally happen’ is that the one bloke getting paid £250k should probably get paid a lot less, if he doesn’t like it he can leave.
Everyone for a given job should be paid the same or given the same opportunity to be paid the same, in the case of the correspondents, there should be slight allowances for regional living allowances and probably a mirryad of other things I care not to think about, end of BBC rant.
In the British Army we’re not bad on equality, but eh?! to this:
Minimum Standards For Women: Press-ups – 21 • Sit-ups – 50 • 1.5 mile run – 13 min
Minimum Standards For Men: Press-ups – 44 • Sit-ups – 50 • 1.5 mile run – 10 min 30 secs
So women can’t do press up or run a 7min mile, but they can do 50 sit ups, I just don’t get it. Surely if we should account for phsyical disparity, then it could have been more like 35 press ups, 40 sit ups, and maybe 12mins (8min mile).. who comes up with this stuff?
On a more cycling note, how rubbish is it that the womens CX get lower barriers next year? That’s surely a backwards step for equality. Many riders didn’t/don’t understand that desicion. But I want to know who would push this rule change through and why? A feminist or a chauvinist?
I’m absolutley loving the womens CX racing this year, it’s great as you don’t know who’s going to win each week..and depends a lot on the conditions/course, however why are the races shorter than the mens if it’s equal? ….OR, is equality in force there simply becuase womens hearts aren’t as large as mens and it’s ‘as fair’ as we can expect taking into account that physiological hurdle.
Does or Should equality account for the physical differences between the sexes?
How can we be more equal in sport and phyical capability? Is it possible to do this without being patronising and belittling to females at the same time?
I think I’m a confused feminist.

They are both good bikes.
They are both good bikes.
I’d say go with the Boardman, whack some 28mm’s on for now and plan to put some better wheels (£200-£300) with some tubeless tyres on at a later date.. for less punctures and more offroad adventures.

Not sure what your looking to achieve with this. Everyone is different. The intergrated seatpost will have ‘bucketloads’ of room to move anyway. Unless you’ve got freaky measurements, which I’d imagine you’d know about by now.

Yes go and see a physio or sports doctor. Echo the fact that enforced rest will give you the best chance of recovery (once you determined what exactly it is and that it can be healed). Tendon’s are a right pain to heal, a decade and a half of skateboarding taught me that tendons heal slower than bones.
