Well – no – you need to ride
Well – no – you need to ride a segment at least twice to register a PR. So ride it slowly the first time, and then again at normal speed.

On the other hand, though, you’re not collecting grinding paste from the road all over it while it’s on the turbo, so as long as you’re putting it on clean that should extend the life (in kms).

B&Bs, guest houses and hotels on the clifftop roads need passing cars to help them recover. How many people really just travel somewhere and then just randomly pull into a B&B or guest house on spec. without having at least checked to see what’s there and what availability they have, if not booked ahead?

Quite – from listening to this you might think that ‘sport’ cyclists didn’t exist elsewhere in Europe, rather than them still existing, but just being significantly outnumbered by utility cyclists.

The cost though is ridiculous. Ballooning from £800k to over £2 million! 2 years of disruption as well. Unfortunately that sort of project management error / incompetence / price gouging by contractors or whatever caused the cost overun could make it difficult to justify this style of roundabout in other places.Quite possibly true, but not necessarily fair. Cost overruns like this are, unfortunately, common on infrastructure projects of all kinds, and, in the absence of further evidence, there’s no particular reason to assume that the cycling- and walking-friendly design is behind the slippage in this case.

I’ve never run is completely
I’ve never run it completely flat, but for the first three quarters at least I’d say the reported charge pretty much goes down in line with usage – I have mine configured to show percentage charge when in use, and it seems to go down pretty steadily.
If yours appears to be draining faster it might be worth trying running it completely flat and then doing a full charge – often ‘battery problems’ with today’s devices seem to be more to do with the reporting function than with the battery charge itself, and forcing it to reset its measurements can resolve them.
Edit: if you configure yours to show the battery charge, you could also check that after you’ve done a full charge it is showing 100% when you turn it on – if it’s not, that would confirm that you have an issue with either the battery or the charge reporting.

Yeah – I’ve done 7h20 plus 20 mins paused time and the bolt battery was still only 2/3 used. How long are your long rides?
