I went away, slept in a car for a few days, did some shifts in the follow van, got lost here and there, Lost Chris once and then as we got north of Inverness he really started to struggle with his breathing. So we managed to get him an emergency appointment in Helmsdale. Where the Dr told him he had acute bronchitis. So it was a made dash to pick up his meds. He took his meds and carried on to John O’Groats.

He was still on time to break the record, but took the wise decision to call it a day there. No point in ending up in hospital again, just for a record.

Because Ben Rocket “set” a “record” its now used as the time to beat. But he doesn’t hold a record, because he broke so many rules. He was drafting, had a pack of cyclists around him holding him on the bike towards the end.

So he has an unofficial record, but its a farce.

Yes I think some of the small races may get cut, because they were a nightmare to get start lists for.

I think its better to stick to World Tour races, as “certain” website’s that helped us seem to want to make money now and are not interested in linking up.

Although, they just recycle and publish publicly available information. They seem to think someone (team’s) should pay for it.

I am thinking about setting up a site, either as part of roadcc game or on my own, to include historical race data
