Have you checked your wheel
Have you checked your wheel bearings? It sounds more like that than the gearing or chain. I bet it makes the same noise when back pedalling?

It would be good if cgipryan got the stage winners prize. 207 is a very good score for a one-day race, which would have been close to winning anyway.
Tbh I don’t think you would have any complaints from anyone if he did win which Gkam seems to think he did .
We know the high scorer and as was said in the email that went out, the player will still get the prize

Jesus, downloaded the full
Jesus, downloaded the full version. It is not advisable to be on your mobile phone while cycling, I accept that from the police, but it is not illegal and the motorcyclist didn’t even try to go round him, just went straight through his handlebars.
I wouldn’t have been as calm as the cyclist, police or no police.
The motorcyclist took him out, end of.

cgipryan, seeing your name
cgipryan, seeing your name there, yes I believe it was you. I think you won by 3 points 😉Armchair Cyclist : I am sorry I made that remake about the smiley, I had a long day of answering posts on here regarding the stage and you came on to say you had noticed, but hadn’t thought to mention it to anyone. Kinda just got my goat up.
So I am sorry.
It is not yours or anyone who plays the games responsibility to spot errors, but if you come across one, it would be nice just to give one of us a shout, even if you are unsure about it being an error and that way, we can correct it in time and nothing like this happens again.
Mistakes will happen, it is the nature of cycling racing that things change last minute at races. We try and get everything right, but sometimes, small errors slip through the cracks.
If in the future ANYONE comes across what they think to be an error, please, give one of us a shout.

You have chosen to come into
You have chosen to come into the thread and make it known you knew about the deadline being wrong, that is why you are being asked why you didn’t tell anyone.No-one is blaming you, I am the one who set it up wrong months ago.

That was certainly my attitude when I noticed the discrepancy between the deadline and the schedule for the event.
(177 pts for regular team, 195 for the premium, and I would have got my first full house badge)
Thanks for the heads up eh……
So you had enough interest to see the time discrepancy, but not enough to inform someone from the game so this whole situation could have been avoided…..nice attitude to have…..
Where is the W*nker smiley when you need it…..

The winning score was 207 if
The winning score was 207 if I remember right, I don’t know what will happen with the stage prize. The classics was a different issue.
There were no transfers made after 4.50am with the deadline being changed to 5.00am, but that cut 6 hours of that people were expecting to put teams in by, so it is totally different from the classics. That deadline over ran the race. People were able to put in riders after the race had started.
LEARNING from that and knowing the deadline of 11am would have meant that everyone could have waited until the race was finished and entered the top 9 riders. I contacted Dave to have him change the deadline so that it did not over run the race.
So we learnt from the classics, I made a mistake when entering the deadlines, instead of putting it at 11pm, I had it set to 11am the next day. I only noticed at 11.09pm when I contacted Dave to try and sort it.
This is a genuine mistake and will be learnt from, just like the classics has been.
I’m going to say no more on it. I think I have pretty much covered everything.
I have asked Dave to have a say, because some of you want to hear from the management. So I’m sure he’ll post something whenever he has time to do it.

It do feel that FAR to many
It do feel that FAR to many people take this game way to seriously, I’d hate to sit down with them and play monopoly. At the end of the day, it is a game, but you can win actual real life prizes….Some worth quite a lump of cash, everyone has the same chance.
Pick 9 riders and see what comes up….Some research more than others and this does pay off on certain races.
But the womens cycling is here for a couple of reasons.
1, I wanted to run it, see how it went down and how easy it was to come by the information, looking to the future and running different races. i.e. The womens tour.
2, I wanted to highlight womens racing in general, there is a serious lack of it anywhere on the internet, not least in the British media, who only cover it if there is a British win.I think you’ll ALL agree (those of you who’ve been around since the start) that quite a few races had their difficulties in the first season of the game, then new ones in the second season.
So like other races, the womens has had little difficulties. The fairest thing for today was to give everyone 0 and that way, no-one wins and loses and the overall competition for the prize is still fair. The total of the womens world cup prizes comes to £1314.92. It needs to be kept fair for ALL.
