Why not loosen the clips on
Why not loosen the clips on the pedal to be quite loose and almost so they hardly work, that way, just pulling your foot up with unclip themThats how i started out with clips, now mine are super tight and very hard to unclip, but only on one side, my left side is looser so i can pull it out to stop at junctions, infact sometimes when coming to a stop at my house i just unfasten my right shoe and leave it clipped

Regarding the fantasy game, there is a whole section in the forum thats for the game, hopefully this year people will keep game chat in there rather than just posting it randomly :BGkam84
There is no doubt that
There is no doubt that companies make big mark up’s on bikes, i would say none more than road bike manufacture’sAnother link to have a look at would be http://www.bamboobike.org/Home.html They run course’s in New York (i think) on how to build a bamboo bike and once build it gets sent to Africa
One other thing, Are you making the whole frame from bamboo or using lugs and other things from a normal frame?
Just wondered because this frame caught my eye and i thought i would ride one of those just because its different, not for any other reason

As much as i understand the
As much as i understand the “Greenness” of riding a bamboo bike, Its not for me at all, I’ve seen them and ridden one, just didn’t like itBut i would suggest, as show by The Bicycle Academy http://www.thebicycleacademy.org
Crowd funding can work if you have a product which people want or are interested in
This is their’s for frame building http://www.peoplefund.it/the-bicycle-academy/
Also, is this just another way to try and make some cash like your BMX idea? Building bikes this way is never going to make you money unless your really really good at it, you might make a bit here and there though to top up your printing machine’s 😉 :B

They also do a bright pink for the ladies, so no worries about them not having a “range” for them 👿Gkam84
But these maps are not to
But these maps are not to show how a crash happened nor to show who was at fault, it is to highlight the number of accidents on the UK roads.I’m merely pointing out that the BBC map goes a little bit further in regards the deaths than the ITO with a little description of the crash.

Thanks for the
Thanks for the recommendations OldRidgebackI’ve ALWAYS wanted a Suzuki Bandit, something between the sports and touring that could also take panniers, after looking about, the older models which i grew up loving seem to be out of date, so something like the GSF650S 😀

I’m totally unaware of what
I’m totally unaware of what lesson’s cost these days, i know when i was learning at 17, so over 10 years ago, i was around £17 a lessonsI did look at a little scooter and while that would work out fine for short journey’s the longer ones i think i would be quicker on my bike
Being stuck in the middle of nowhere is also effecting my work somewhat as public transport is getting beyond a joke, I’m an agency chef, so i kind of pick and choose work, but with it being quite hard to come by at the moment, i’m having to just take what i can get, having my own motorized transport would just make life a lot simpler on the whole. I like to think i’ve quite experienced when it comes to using the road as a cyclist, so jumping onto a motor bike, i’d like to think i’d be the same, just with more power, i used to run around on a scooter when i was 16, but that was in a large city, never once had a problem, so for cost and value, i think i’ll opt for something around 500cc………now just to wait for the tax man’s cheque, only 6,5 and 4 years after i should have had the tax back, i wish the included interest for it sitting in their coffers aswell

So, a big selection and a better price than Wiggle, and I’m sold. That would be great, but unless as a start up you have millions to invest in stock, its never going to become a reality to compete with established retailers like Wiggle and Evans
I think what you REALLY REALLY need to look for is a niche market, something the big retailers aren’t selling or aren’t interested in at the moment
I can’t think of any examples, so i’ll just go with glasses for an example
For instance, if every retailer was selling sunglasses in a range of smoke and dark lenses, but the trend was people buying clear or orange, then get in there before they do and make some profit before the big guns pick up on it
At the end of the day, if you start selling something and do well at it, there are going to be a number of things happen
1, you’ll make profit
2, you’ll be a port of call for loyal buyers
3, the big guys will latch on to your profits and get stock in of whats selling and undercut youThere are many more things that could/will happen but if you can get in there first with some products you stand a chance of making money and getting known
