I was searching for Cantwell to add him as a rider. I typed in ‘can’ and my only result was ‘Ryder Hesjedal’.Because Hesjedal is Canadian, i think the system is set up to pick up nationality’s first over names, so typing AUS, will give you the Australians

This is true, but its just another little thing that has filtered down from pro cycling, wanna look like a pro, stock up on gel’s 👿
I know a guy who swears by having a gel every 20 miles, nothing to do with science of what his body has used, the weather, how far he has left to go, just 20 miles on the dot, time for a gel or energy bar :&

Well i switch between the clear and the yellow ones depending on the conditions, but polarised might workI know i wouldn’t be spending that much of a pair though, infact my everyday cycling glasses didn’t cost that 😀

Technique’s to make you a
Technique’s to make you a better climber and finish faster??I don’t know any websites, but i’m sure others will chip in, I’ll start you off
TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN, find a local climb, get out on your bike as often as possible, keep going for the climb, the only way to make you a better climber unfortunately is to train on climbs, i wish there was some miracle training technique, but there isn’t
Finishing in the time limit and not having people wait for you is all about pacing yourself, dont go blowing all your energy in the first few miles just trying to keep up with the guys who do events all the time, stick to your own pace and keep turning the pedals
If you have any other mates who you go out with, try and rope them into the event, that way, you can work out a group pace and its much easier than sitting there on your own and having other people passing you all the time, thats a pain in the neck when trying to keep your pace

I went by the details on his profile which say he’s in Kilbirnie, so one is in Glasgow, about 25 miles away (dales) and Rock and Road are around 50 miles away, but have a better set up as far as fitting goes with one of these systemshttp://www.bikefitting.com/English/Systems/Introduction.aspx
Also, frames vary from make to make, here is just an example, no science involved, i put in 800mm to here
http://www.bikefitting.com/English/FSR/FSR.aspx
They suggest a 52cm frame, now i don’t know about anyone else with a 31-32 inch leg, but 52cm would be a bit to small for me, with adjustments, i think i could make it work, but its just an example to so how things vary

I’m almost the same
I’m almost the same measurements, although never having tried a cube bike i couldn’t tell you about themI’m currently riding a 55cm frame, I just took delivery of another 55cm frame, but unfortunately its having to get shipped back to America, because they have sent me the wrong spec, so i’m also in the market for a new bike
If you wanted to get everything spot on, there are a couple of bike fitters i know of
Dales cycles, who a few friends have gone to
http://www.dalescycles.com/contact.aspand Rock and Road who i got fitted with in the past
http://www.rockandroadcycles.co.uk/They are the only ones i know, but i’m sure there are more. They charge for fittings, but then you would be spot on in knowing what size of everything you need
Personally, I’m looking at a range of different bikes, mostly 54’s because i prefer the head down ass up style 👿 😀
