That sky set up will be
That sky set up will be custom made to fit their bikes and lorry. BUT, its simple enough to do yourself.

Depending on what you want to hook, the frame or the wheels?

Wheels are simple. Get this and screw it to a secure point on your rook

Frame’s are a little different, but I dare say that hook above would work. You would just need two for each bike, one for each side of the rear triangle.

Cheaper option would be to get these from your local DIY store like I said above 😕

    Everyone seems to rave about
Everyone seems to rave about the Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Mini Lock

For me, A “cake stop” “coffee stop” just needs to be a small deterrent rather than a hugely expensive unbreakable lock.

So something like a Knog Milkman would be fine, as you are normally within site of your bike and just need something small and lightweight to lock it.

    Another option, get a car
Another option, get a car bike rack second hand, cheap and work out a way to cut and put it onto the wall.

What kind of budget are you
What kind of budget are you on? I’m thinking a small one by the solution’s you’ve listed?

So something like this, around £40, its a “lean to” stand for two bikes

    http://www.tredz.co.uk/prodimg/35530_1_SuperSize.jpg

Then again, if you are quite happy to screw into the wall. Something like this for around a tenner

Even cheaper, Just go to your local DIY place and get hooks like both of these use and fashion your own stand or hanger 😉

Then you have the problem of
Then you have the problem of 5/20 being on Team Sky

So leaving 15 other riders. By the time you split them into teams, Its only going to give you a few teams with star riders. So lets just say for arguments sake Froome, Wiggo, EBH, Heano, Uran, Nibali, Contador and Kreuziger were the only star’s in the TdF next year.

Thats only 3 teams. Meaning you will be FORCED to pick two from the same team. A bit unfair when you are forced to do it.

The system you are talking about involves changing the rules every race to suit the amount of stars involved. Its just not workable as a season long set up. Fine for a one of race. But not the season.

So 20 Star riders? Are you
So 20 Star riders? Are you mad, they you would HAVE to scrap the 4/5 spilt as most of the time you’d be lucky to have half of the 20 racing at the same time.

I think there is no further point in discussing the riders points system as its already being worked on for next season 😉

French cyclist Steve Houanard banned after failing drugs test

The International Cycling Union (UCI) has provisionally suspended Steve Houanard after the Frenchman tested positive for the banned substance EPO.
Houanard tested positive from an out-of-competition sample he gave on 21 September 2012.
The Ag2r-La Mondiale rider has the right to request and attend the analysis of a B sample.
Houanard’s ban will remain in place until the French Cycling Federation completes its investigation.
A UCI statement read: “The provisional suspension of Mr Houanard remains in force until a hearing panel convened by the French Cycling Federation determines whether he has committed an anti-doping rule violation under article 21 of the UCI Anti-Doping Rules.”

I’ve just batteried up my lights for these darker days. Tested them all. I never knew my fronts were so powerful, just “cheapish” ebay one’s. But some power. I can see their light on a house over 750 yards away.

I do worry they may be to powerful? Could your lights ever be to powerful?

I think they are designed for nutters on their MTB’s in the woods at night 👿
