    Good idea, but instead of
Good idea, but instead of paying a court fine to the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service)

They should get the imposed points on their license.

Then a fine imposed and given to a registered charity dealing with consequences of RTA’s and the families left behind, then a court order for the offender to volunteer with just such a charity for X amount of hours community service.

Making them “think again” is much more of a deterrent than just points and a fine.

Put that together with their face on a poster as suggested by A V Lowe…..

See, group thinking can solve everything, now off to solve how I can move to another planet 👿

Bit extreme Some Fella, but I do like the idea, I love Germany 😉

Stumps, I was more thinking about getting cycle safety into the general public’s heads.

Infrastructure takes to long to implement, although I’d love a nationwide cycle lane scheme. Putting something about awareness of cyclist’s into the driving test would be good. But doesn’t help for all the drivers at the moment, just future one’s.

Retesting is an idea, it would also serve to weed out those unfit/unsafe to drive. But as with everything, it would be open to manipulation. Although a reduction of insurance premiums is a good idea for regular retesting.

Harsher penalties would also be greatly welcomed on my part.

But I’m thinking something catchy, of the time and soon before the story dies off and more cyclist’s are killed or injured.

Shocking that only one person has even commented and its not be turned into a news story……

A multi-nation like Trek has bikes stolen…….end of the world, but they can afford to replace them.

A small British upstart like this one is cleaned out and no-one cares?? 😕

    You may also remember, last
You may also remember, last year when he released a press statement denying EVER being involved with Ferrari

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/scarponi-hits-back-at-dr-ferrari-accusations

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/is-dr-ferrari-at-the-centre-of-latest-italian-doping-investigation

In my eye’s this REEKS, So not only has he lied about being involved, he’s also admitted it on his own terms after seeing others in the USADA and other investigations come clean and receive out of season winter ban’s.

I hope he’s banned for life this time.
