    Do you start your
Do you start your antihistamines before the summer and before symptoms start? That’s the best way to do it, getting them in your system a month or so before you even feel the effects of hayfever.

    Do you have eye drops?

I took out Kwiatkowski for Rolland, I think they will have around the same points. I took in Kreuziger for Rogers, so a few more points.

I was really hoping for Clarke to push on though 🙁

    The reason I mentioned
The reason I mentioned immunotherapy or “desensitisation” as its also known, is because its the nearest thing to a cure. You go through your course of treatment, normally over a year or two and it is supposed to clear up all symptoms. You take a pill in conjunction with your regular hayfever treatments and it builds up your tolerance levels over time.

You may see it as a last resort, but many Dr’s are recommending it as a first thing to try as the success rate is so high.

Its and arse and a half to put on, you need someone else to do it for you ideally and know which way to pull certain muscles.

Its not a case of just slapping it on the affected area 😉

YES YES and YES. Just like J
YES YES and YES. Just like J E James Cycles helped me last year. Because no charity would. I had to turn to social funding (crowd sourcing) to afford a recumbent trike to suit my needs as a disabled cyclist. This meant, I raised the money, mainly from the kindness of users around this site who chipped in what they could afford. J E James served as a buyer for me, gaining the trade discount and passing that straight onto me without taking any profit.

If you are thinking of doing something like you outlined above, I would love to get involved with you. Get in touch 😉

You need to pop along to the
You need to pop along to the Dr and ask for a kenalog injection.

I have suffered with the worst hayfever my Dr had ever seen since the age of 3. Since then I have tried everything on the market, including salt therapy, tolerance therapy and Immunotherapy.

In the end, the only thing left was to give me the injection, because its a steroid you cannot get more than two a year, but I find one right at the start of the season works a treat and in vary rare high pollen times, I sometimes have to use eye drops at night. Like tonight, I’ll most likely stick some in, because I’ve been out all day.

I would recommend trying Immunotherapy first though as that does work in most cases

This one is over two years old.

If you even think about replying with a stupid fucking video link. I WILL find a way of blocking all your future posts, even though I don’t run the site.

I don’t have experience with the leaf motor, its well priced, but doesn’t give you great options for gearing.

I have experience with the Crystalyte because I installed it on a friends bike. Very simply to do and you just fit a cassette and hook it all up.

The problem with Rolland is, until he’s dropped more time on the GC, he’s not going to get away in a break to get more KOM’s.

    I don’t have reflectors
I don’t have reflectors installed on the trike and never had an issue.

So rear hub motors, but keeping a decent range of gearing, you want to be looking at Crystalyte.

If you didn’t want gearing and wanted to bad ass. Then you need a 1000w Leaf Motor 😉 http://www.leafmotor.com/bike-conversion-kit.html

Also, another simpler option, if its only want towing a trailer and depending on what you put in the trailer. Have a look at an electric trailer, then there is no need to modify you bike at all http://www.ridekick.com/

    250w might be the “legal
250w might be the “legal maximum”, my LBS hires out more powerful than that and also sells them.

So I wouldn’t worry about it, have you ever seen an electric bike being stopped and the police trying to figure out the power of the motor…nah neither have I.

What are you wanting to do? A rear or front hub kit? Front is easier to work with.
