    Hi John. 130mm disc-brake

Hi John. 130mm disc-brake hubs certainly used to exist, more generally back when road disc was newer – my old  (2013?) Jamis Nova Sport had one – so worth a look if you need a new wheelset. The frame could also be cold set, Ti is springy but not unbendable, but may be worth having a look at the drop out separation as well – a number of disc frames (including Ti) were spaced at a nominal 132.5mm to cope with either 130mm or 135mm.

I do generally, and to others

I do generally, and to others – drivers, pedestrians and motorcyclists if i’m near or interacting with them. If they acknowledge, fine – and plenty do – but it’s my choice to nod or raise a hand, and not their responsibility to respond. Wouldn’t sweat it, plenty of reasons why something doesn’t come back, not worth judging or second guessing.

    It’s a great little thing –

It’s a great little thing – looks quite bonkers to have used – worth trying to have a butchers if they open it up again in the future (only been partially opened a couple of times recently that I recall).

I remember the old tram tracks that still poked out here and there when I was younger, e.g. at the bottom of the hill at Clifton Down. Right bugger we lost all of that.

    If they’re still working that

If they’re still working that that’s not a bad idea… I can’t see the lift up Park Street happening either way.

That would actually be quite useful up Vale Street.

Yep, be tricky unless we swapped over which side the traffic goes up on… looks quite good fun in action though !

Trondheim always make me think of this…

    “however pedestrians always

“however pedestrians always assume you are not supposed to be there no matter how slowly you approach them”

..perhaps a consequence of their nasty habit of tarring everyone in their out-groups with the same brush ? Tut tut, such a thing…

Aye, should be but as that

Aye, should be but as that article says, the results for 10-speed chain with 11-speed chainrings are ‘variable’ (which might be taking into account FD pull or not, doesn’t say).

    fukawitribe

10 speed chain is wider, so

10 speed chain is wider, so if there was a 11-speed chainset with a really tight gap between the rings then I guess you could get grief there – but it’s not in the same tolerance regime as with 10-speed chain/11-speed cassette. SRAM actually increased the gap between the rings on the 11-speed chainset and specifically warn against using it in a 10-speed drivechain for that reason.

    fukawitribe

    They can do, and sometimes

They can do, and sometimes yes – but not great, e.g. they can sometimes be more prone to chain wedge between the chainrings, or shift wrinkles, as the separation is wider on the 11-speed crankset, as with SRAM. I’ve had no issue with Shimano and FSA mixed but MMV.

That said, can often work just fine as yours does and plenty of choice of 10-speed chainsets to choose.. nice new GRX doubles are pretty well priced.

Aye and there are endless times – including a number of ‘fastest’ – available from the most trivial of online searches and online resources. Not entirely sure what specifically is missing that the OP needs.
