I for one do not care what you wear, I also know you don’t like me too much. However there is no point letting it rot away and you might as well use it.You are obviously not Armstrong and if anyone wants to hurl abuse at you because of what you are wearing they really need to get out more.
Though if anyone started lobbing syringes at you I would perhaps have a rethink.

With the abuse of laser pointers as an example. What happens if these are not mounted properly?
I have a feeling anyone using these might attract the attention of Plod.

You could cycle to Guildford
You could cycle to Guildford and then walk from Waterloo to Farringdon via Roupell Street and Blackfriars Bridge. I worked in Blackfriars for many years and that took about 15 minutes Farringdon is not that much further. On the days it’s raining have an Oyster card handy for the bus.freespirit1

I and many others have said that a snap-band ankle reflector, or shoe/clothing reflectors SHOULD be a suitable replacement.Motorcyclists dont have this problem, and I strongly think cyclists – if they have good lights – shouldn’t either.
I can see no strong evidence that it really makes a difference, whereas lights do.
Motorbikes do have to have reflectors, one of my previous bikes failed an MOT for it.October 3, 2013 at 2:23 pm in reply to: friend just knocked off bike by minicab. Any lawyers to recommend? #758909freespirit1

pwmedcraftFunnily enough I saw my brother in law last weekend at a family wedding. He lives in Westcott too, in Bailey Road, he said that mostly the road closures are regarded locally as welcome as a dose of diarrhoea.
You would not happen to be related to the owners of Nirvana Cycles would you?
Conflict of interest is a phrase that springs to mind!!

All I have ever asked for is to use the roads as far as my own fair share is concerned. With consideration for other road users. They are a resource for all of us to use, that we all pay for.How about we all play nicely and share?
Or is that asking too much?

If it varies the route that is fine, I have never said I want the event cancelled.I could make a few suggestions as to where the route goes, especially if you want a proper NIMBY.
I feel it should be routed through Caterham, Charlwood and not sure how they would do this but take it to Addlestone also.
My reasoning the 3 county councillors who are behind this, that is where their voters and homes are. At the moment these 3 are not troubled at all.
