Insurance?  Maintaining your vehicle to a certain standard?  I’m sure there wasn’t anything in the Garstang guidance about that?!

It does sound like some sharks are trying to take advantage of others who are just exercising their lawful right to drive.  Making us into cash cows, they are.

Because of course we have no choice – we have to drive.  How else can you reach destinations within say 3 miles or so in a timely manner, or carry more than a couple of kilos around without working up a sweat?
