Just In: Bianchi Oltre XR4 Disc

Wow! High-end race bike gets the disc brake treatment

The new Bianchi Oltre XR4 Disc has just arrived for testing and we're very excited by the prospect because the rim brake version, which has been around for a couple of years, is an excellent race bike.

Read our Bianchi Oltre XR4 (rim brake) review here

The Bianchi Oltre XR3 Disc is also very good. Read our review

The Oltre XR4 Disc is available in various different builds. The model we have here is built up with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset with a 52/36-tooth semi-compact chainset. The wheels are Fulcrum Racing Quattros with 40mm deep carbon-fibre rims. This model is priced £7,600.

The standard version in a Shimano Ultegra Di2 build has Fulcrum Racing 418 wheels and is priced £6,500, while the top-level model with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset is £10,000.

If you'd prefer a Campagnolo groupset, the Oltre XR4 Disc is available with Super Record and Shamal Ultra DB wheels for £9,400.

Check out the video for more details, or go to www.bianchi.com. We'll have a full review on road.cc soon.
