We've just confirmed the first four venues for our BikeLIVE demo days to take place in 2018, a couple we've visited before but for the first time we'll be heading to London and the Forest of Dean too.
At the BikeLIVE events earlier this year we had the likes of Canyon, Giant, Cube, Ribble and Wilier amongst others having around one hundred bikes between them for you to play around on and test out until your heart's content, well between the hours of 9am to 5pm at least. It gives you a great chance to ride that dream bike, try out the latest electronic shifting or even disc brakes and who knows you might even end up scratching that n+1 itch with a new bike.
Tickets are priced at £15 per person and on the day you'll find various food and drink vendors on hand to keep you fuelled up in the event village.
We've put a quick rundown of each event below but you can watch the videos, check out the full details and buy your tickets on the BikeLIVE website here too. This is where you'll also find all of the latest events organised by road.cc, off-road.cc & ebiketips.
"Try out a huge range of road bikes and e-bikes including e-mountain bikes from top manufacturers. Bath's Odd Down circuit is a custom-built 1.5km road circuit, and the event has exclusive use of the pristine tarmac all day. No fighting with the traffic on your test rides!
"Redbridge Cycle Centre can accomodate every kind of riding you could want. There is a custom-built 2km road circuit, and the event has exclusive use of the pristine tarmac all day. No fighting with the traffic on your test rides! There will be waymarked mountain bike trails (4km) and dirt roads for testing gravel and all-purpose bikes. Whatever you want to try, there'll be riding for you."
"It's back - the annual BikeLIVE demo day at Cannock Chase. Try out a huge range of mountain bikes, gravel bikes, road bikes and e-bikes including e-mountain bikes from top manufacturers."
"The first ever BikeLIVE demo day at the Forest of Dean! With various terrain options this venue will be the ideal place to test ride road and gravel bikes plus MTB's whether human powered or some battery assistance."
With 20 years of road cycling and over 150,000 miles in his legs it's safe to say Stu is happiest when on the bike whatever the weather. Since writing his first review for road.cc back in 2009 he has also had a career in engineering including 3D-CAD design and product development, so has a real passion for all of the latest technology coming through in the industry but is also a sucker for a classic steel frame, skinny tyres, rim brakes and a damn good paintjob.
His fascination with gravel bikes is getting out of control too!
