BikeLIVE 2018, our popular demo day series returns with the announcement of these first four dates and venues

Test ride the latest bikes from the top manufacturers at venues including Cannock Chase, Forest of Dean, Bath and London

We've just confirmed the first four venues for our BikeLIVE demo days to take place in 2018, a couple we've visited before but for the first time we'll be heading to London and the Forest of Dean too.

At the BikeLIVE events earlier this year we had the likes of Canyon, Giant, Cube, Ribble and Wilier amongst others having around one hundred bikes between them for you to play around on and test out until your heart's content, well between the hours of 9am to 5pm at least. It gives you a great chance to ride that dream bike, try out the latest electronic shifting or even disc brakes and who knows you might even end up scratching that n+1 itch with a new bike.

Tickets are priced at £15 per person and on the day you'll find various food and drink vendors on hand to keep you fuelled up in the event village.

We've put a quick rundown of each event below but you can watch the videos, check out the full details and buy your tickets on the BikeLIVE website here too. This is where you'll also find all of the latest events organised by road.cc, off-road.cc & ebiketips.

"The first ever BikeLIVE demo day at the Forest of Dean! With various terrain options this venue will be the ideal place to test ride road and gravel bikes plus MTB's whether human powered or some battery assistance."

Since writing his first bike review for road.cc back in early 2009 senior product reviewer Stu has tested more than a thousand pieces of kit, and hundreds of bikes.

With an HND in mechanical engineering and previous roles as a CNC programmer/machinist, draughtsman and development engineer (working in new product design) Stu understands what it takes to bring a product to market. A mix of that knowledge combined with his love of road and gravel cycling puts him in the ideal position to put the latest kit through its paces.

He first made the switch to road cycling in 1999, primarily for fitness, but it didn’t take long for his competitive side to take over which led to around ten years as a time triallist and some pretty decent results. These days though riding is more about escapism, keeping the weight off and just enjoying the fact that he gets to ride the latest technology as part of his day job.
