Strava climbs for 2016 Tour of Britain

Segments for the King of the Mountains competition

The Tour of Britain starts tomorrow (Sunday) and as an official partner of the race, Strava has provided a list of segments corresponding to each of the climbs on which King of the Mountains points will be available.

There are a number of famous British climbs in this year’s race, from The Struggle out of Ambleside to the Cat and Fiddle out of Macclesfield.

How do you fare on any that are local to you? You might want to pray that the riders are battling a headwind if you want to cling onto a top ten place.

Stage One – Glasgow to Castle Douglas (168km)

Stage Two – Carlisle to Kendal (195km)

Stage Three: Congleton to Tatton Park, Knutsford (182km)

Stage Four: Denbigh to Builth Wells (217km)

Stage Five: Aberdare to Bath (205km)

Stage Six: Sidmouth to Haytor, Dartmoor (150km)

Stage Seven: Bristol Circuit Race (76.5km)

Alex has written for more cricket publications than the rest of the road.cc team combined. Despite the apparent evidence of this picture, he doesn't especially like cake.
