Former world trials champion Vittorio Brumotti is one of the best stunt riders around – we’ve regularly featured him here on road.cc in videos such as Road Bike Freestyle or the ones he’s ridden in as an unofficial member of the Tinkoff team.
> More Vittorio Brumotti videos here
In his latest, appropriately suited and booted, he takes on the morning rush hour traffic in Catalonia’s capital Barcelona with spectacular results.
In the spot Brumotti seems to be on a hire bike – those of Barcelona’s Bicing scheme are red, as his is – but look more closely and you’ll see it’s a road bike.
The spot was filmed for Seat, maker of the Ateca 4×4 that the cyclist jumped out of to avoid the jam … but which arrives at his destination at the same time he does, no doubt due to all that larking around on rooftops.

A road bike as a city bike?
A road bike as a city bike? Do they have the sort of Boris bikes and they just replaced them with road bikes for the shoot or are they actually renting road bikes for the masses? If yes, I want that in London!
Sadly the Boris bikes in
Sadly the Boris bikes in Barcelona can only be hired by local residents because the bike hire shops didn’t want to lose business.
