Aussie Kate goes home the hard way

6-month, 6,000 mile solo bike trip via Russia, Mongolia & China

Kate Maloney is a 27-year-old Australian who has been living in County Sligo, Ireland and who now plans to go home to Aussieland. No news there. However, the fact that she plans to do it on her bike and on her own via Russia, Mongolia and China is what marks this out as er....remarkable.

That and her multimedia presentation which gives away her day job as a handy designer. Through Kate's own website she's planning on whipping up €100,000 for the charities Grow, a mental health organization and Sustrans our own dear sustainable transport group. No results on google search and cannot get to the site direct either !

Please advise as interested to see outcome of this journey .
