Chris Froome's Tour de France winning yellow Pinarello Dogma F8 at Eurobike

Taking centre stage on Pinarello's huge stand at Eurobike this year is Chris Froome's actual Tour de France winning Dogma F8, complete with GPS sensor attached to the Fizik saddle.

The new Dogma F8, the Italian company's first aero road bike, developed with Team Sky partner Jaguar, was launched at last year's Tour de France, and has become the main race bike for the team. Froome's victory in the 2015 Tour de France marked the biggest win for the new model though - his first Tour de France win was aboard the previous Dogma 65.1. 

The frame has a custom paint job, featuring a rhino graphic along the side of the head tube and top tube. Why a rhino? It's both a nod to Froome’s Kenyan roots but also to show his support for Unite for Wildlife, a charity that was set up to put an end to the illegal wildlife trade.

Froome gets the same Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain that the rest of the Team Sky use. The key difference however is his use of Osymetric chainrings. He favours a 175mm crank arm length.

The mechanics have been busy. The outer casing of the optional Di2 satellite shifter pod has been removed, obviously to save a bit of weight, though it must be a gram or two at the most. 

He rides an aluminium PRO handlebar and stem, with a carbon fibre seatpost and matching yellow Fizik Antares saddle. 

A Token chainguide is fixed to the front mech clamp to prevent the chain dropping off.

Even the brake cable housing is yellow. 

Wheels are Shimano's Dura-Ace C50, a carbon tubular wheelset.

There's a custom yellow K-Edge Garmin out-front mount and matching bar tape.

All bikes in the Tour de France were fitted with this odd looking stick, attached to the underside of the saddle. It's a GPS tracker and was supposed to feed extra data into the television viewing experience. IT weighs just 80g and the battery can apparently last for five days. It transmits one signal per second and the GPS coordinates are communicated to transmitters in 25 vehicles following the race, and then relayed to aircraft.
