Quad Lock Schwag Grab: we have winners!

Three Quad Lock phone mounting systems up for grabs

We gave you the chance to win one of the natty Quad Lock smartphone mounts last week, and now it's time to annouce the three winners in our Quad Lock competition. Okay, we said we'd do it yesterday but it was Tony's birthday and we got distracted with the cake.

So the three winners out of the hat are... backflipbedlemVin Cox and justDave. Congratulations! We'll be in touch to arrange your prizes. Thanks to everyone who took part.

Remember, stay tuned for more competitions on the way soon.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cyclists are increasingly using smartphones for navigating and recording rides, and the Quad Lock is a lightweight, strong and secure mounting system compatible with a wide range of phones, including the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4.

Madison (who also look after brands like Shimano, GoPro, Park Tool) have just landed the exclusive distribution rights for Quad Lock in the UK and ROI, and to celebrate are giving three lucky road.cc readers the chance to win a Quad Lock iPhone 5, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S4.

The Quad Lock is really easy to use. You get a case to pop your phone in, the mount attaches to the stem or handlebars, and the case simply twists and locks into place. The slim case also acts as a protective case for your phone so you can leave it on when you’re off the bike. You can read Dave’s indepth review to find out more about using the Quad Lock here.

To recap, we’ve got three mounts to give away, the three lucky winners can choose from an iPhone 5, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S4. These kits are worth between £25 and £45. Just tell us in the comments box if you use a phone when you’re cycling for tracking your activity or navigating routes, and we’ll stick your hat in the draw.

You’ve got until 5.30pm on Monday 15th December. Usual  schwag grab rules apply

David worked on the road.cc tech team from 2012-2020. Previously he was editor of Bikemagic.com and before that staff writer at RCUK. He's a seasoned cyclist of all disciplines, from road to mountain biking, touring to cyclo-cross, he only wishes he had time to ride them all. He's mildly competitive, though he'll never admit it, and is a frequent road racer but is too lazy to do really well. He currently resides in the Cotswolds, and you can now find him over on his own YouTube channel David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes

seriously 7 you guys want me to add even more clutter to my bars 7 I thought this whole 'new' cycling thing entailed shedding of weight and making ones machine more aero 39 and now you want me to tie a half brick; well, a slim line half brick; well actually, a super slimline, light weight half brick to my bars 39 Really 7

Right, I'm off to dig out my old Brooks bar bag. I'm sure it's much lighter than that bit of plastic, carries a lot more and definitely much more durable. 103

Navigation on my phone has gotten me out of a few lost-in-the-middle-of-nowhere situations recently!

Don't use my phone whilst cycling at the moment. Use strava for runs but would love a mount to extend it to cycling.

Iphone 6

I currently use a different offering for my iphone, but would be more than willing to try this. When cycling new routes I tend to plan them first on map my ride and then sync to the phone. Just have to remember to make map my ride stick to actual roads...(not a nice lesson to learn in December)
