Back in May we mentioned that SpinCycle Magazine – the North West club and pro racing magazine – were bringing out a limited edition print annual, a 272-page collection of interviews and photo stories with a gritty Northern slant. The annual has been selling well since.
Editor James Maloney says: "We were amazed by the broad interest in the annual. Aside from our core club readers in the NW we’ve had buyers from all over the world – especially the US and Australia who seemingly can’t get enough of the stories of plucky Northern riders and racers.”
"With copies at Magma Books and Condor Cycles in London even soft southerners have been bagging a bit of Northern club racing credibility for their bookshelves. With features on Stan Brittain who rode the 1958 Tour de France and Bill Bradley (still the only rider to win back-to-back Milk Races) and two days on tour with the Tour of Britain, SpinCycle Annual 01 is both value for money and looks graceful on the post-ride coffee table.
"With just 200 copies left from a strictly limited print run of 1,500 now’s the time to bag a copy for the cyclist in your life this Christmas," he added..
The Spin Cycle Annual costs £15 plus postage and packing and can be ordered here.

I am a Northerner but bought my copy in Magma Books! Been reading it over breakfast recently, my only criticism would be that you need one hand to keep it open.
