Planning a long(ish) range cycle tour

Hey. As it looks likely that things will be a little more 'normal' a casual group of us are starting a plan a cycle tour for next summer. Something like 'around the Scottish coastline' or 'across the widest part of the UK mainland'.

Either way, my question is has anyone ever used an external company for the logistics of such a trip. I've found a couple but wondered if anyone had any first-hand experience of any others?

I have often thought about this kind of thing, though always thought my options would be.

1) Hire a van and take it turns to drive, the cons being nobody would want to drive on the good days.

2) Hire a van and either offer a partner a free trip or even pay them/somebody to do it who doesn't want to ride.

Then it depends what level of support you want, a rendevous for a lunch stop, meet the van for drinks and sarnies, be at the campsite or B&B with everyone's kit.

Paying a friend or partner would be much cheaper than using a dedicated company.
